We understand that scent preferences can vary and we apologise if the Forest and Blossom scents were too strong for you, and I'm sorry to hear that it caused you a headache. The scent is always strongest for the first few days after you open them, and it does calm down after this. My suggestion would be as you have done, which is to use less reeds, and to possibly relocate them to a larger space for a week or so until the scent softens. After this you may even want to add the reeds back in one at a time until you reach the right strength. And after time, flip the reeds when you feel you need an extra boost of scent.
